Theatre Director
Meridian World School
Born: October 4, 1973
Hometown: Chicago, Illinois
Graduated from: Southwest Texas State University with a B.F.A. in Theatre
When I was asked to write my own biography, my thought was, “This will be a cinch.” I mean, who better to write about me, than me. So I sat in front of my computer for a while pondering what exactly to write. Then, I dozed off. While I was snoozing, it came to me like a bolt of lightening. I WAS THIRSTY! After finishing my bottle of water, I returned to writing my biography. Again, I began to ponder. What do parents and students want to know about me? Would they be interested in knowing this is my 14th year of teaching Theatre? Perhaps. Would upcoming plays and performance opportunities grab their attention? Could the fact that their child is in my class and I will be helping them foster a deep understanding of Theatre and its many facets ? So many possibilities!
In the end I decided on the following:
Meridian World School is a great place to be. I am grateful to be here. We have the best staff and students in Texas. This is going to be a fantastic year. I have a beautiful daughter, MaryAnn and my daughter Erin who watches over from above. My son John is a chunky monkey and as handsome as his Dad! My wife Denise is so good looking that when we walk down the street together people actually look at her. And regardless of what people tell me, I am not too handsome to be a teacher.
